Terms.

The short, friendly rules for using Alma during the beta.

The beta

Alma is free and invite-only while it’s in beta. It’s a personal project run by one person in Denmark. Things may change, break, or be missing, and features may come and go. If Alma ever stops, or stops being free, you’ll be told well in advance and can download your data first.

Your account

• One account per person, and keep your sign-in to yourself. Invites are personal and work once.
• You must be 13 or older.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app.

Your content

Your library, ratings, notes and photos are yours. Alma only uses them to show them to you. Only upload photos you have the right to use, and nothing illegal.

Fair use

Don’t try to break, overload or get around the limits of Alma, or access other people’s data. Accounts that do may be switched off.

Information about titles

Film, series and game information comes from TMDB, IGDB and Apple, and streaming availability from JustWatch via TMDB. Release dates and availability can be wrong or change. Cover art belongs to its owners. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

No guarantees

Alma is provided as it is, without warranties. Backups are made every night, but please download your data now and then if it matters a lot to you. As far as the law allows, Alma isn’t liable for lost data or indirect losses.

Law

These terms follow Danish law. If you’re a consumer, you keep the protections of the law where you live.
